with a touch so quick and gentle
he soothed the ears of his listeners
by playing a melody on

without breaking a single strand

This poem highlights spiders in a beautiful way – nicely done!
I can see and feel this poem. Beautifully crafted.
Made me think of Anansi…
You soothed my inner ear with this one. Thank you.
The beginning of a new story/ fable? Instantly grabbed my attention, Thank you!
Spider webs are strong enough to capture and hold the Old man, spider’s, prey.
How myths are born.
Definitely feels mythological to me!
