Cat Jail
Today they let the cat out of the bag
and boy is she pissed
for each meow now
she has a thousand more stored
cats
never forgive a grudge, they are the
totem of karma with nine lives
to balance accounts
sometimes even
Jesus
can’t free you from cat jail.

HA! This make me want to know more!
OMG! That last line made me laugh out loud!! I love your quirky sense of humor! Great musicality in this poem!!
awesome, and fun.
Cat jail! Now there’s a concept.
What a great alternative depiction of bring in the “dog house”
I plan to show my cat more respect after reading this poem for fear of their “with nine lives/ to balance accounts.”
I am a victim of life six or seven from this stray that now demands attention, love and expensive food.
I have no cat to compare to this, but I heard several friends talk about putting three or four tom cats in a burlap bag, swinging them around and tossing them out. I can only imagine the screaming and the claws finding tender bellies.
