My Therapist Asks Me Why I’ve Stopped Coming
It’s that last year I watched Virginia Creeper
It’s that poison ivy looks the same,
grows alongside, conflates harmless
It’s that at some point
a bigger threat

I really enjoyed this poem and how your separations in stanzas added a space to each of these statements

This poem reminds me I need therapy or I guess that means it is therapy? Enjoyed reading for the tension of line break 3 into 4 which kept me going and really satisfying diction going forward. Also I always use vines as a symbol of love or growth and I love this as another perspective
