Multiple Choice
A.
It’s not you,
it’s all
the
choices
I’ve kept making.
B.
It’s the distance.
C.
I am afraid
(or simply alive)
or you
want to have kids
or not, but to move
to different cities
and I insist
on my own a career and
am devout to
not losing ground with
this current one
every time
I uproot.
D.
I want
comforts I
believe I
must achieve
on
my
own:
how many years
of more discipline
and less expectation
are enough?
E.
I am worried you’re
out
of my league-
so I am not even asking. You
may know, but
didn’t hear it from me.
F.
All of the above.

My elementary school teacher advised…… “answer the easy questions first”….. “don’t waste time on the ones you don’t know”….. “come back to it later”…….
great poem, Tabitha! I went with B.
This is just what I needed to hear right now. Thanks Amy and Amy’s teacher!
Those phrases should be in my regular view.
😉
B is a good answer. Least accusatory.
Love you.
some great questions on life… wish it were easier to make choices than it is sometimes… great writing… hope you come to the conclusion that will best fit your life…
Aww.
I so appreciate your thoughts! Thank you.
Isn’t it funny how we sometimes think too much, and we get in the way of our choices?
Keep writing and choosing, friend! Thanks for your wishes for suitable conclusions. I am all for that and wish you the same.
my gut says all A’s in personal multiple choices are the most straightforward and heart felt of all answers… so, A. A is my final choice.
I am SO HAPPY I needed to produce this poem and it happened NOW and I shared it here with y’all.
These are outstanding answers.
Absolutely.
Form and content clear, good for each other and satisfying.
