Thank You
Well I’m just plain, flat out grateful and didn’t know I would be. I was doubtful but gave it a try anyway. This poetry month has been rewarding, reaffirming, relaxing. I’ve been heard to say that I don’t write for recognition, I don’t pen poems for posterity. I just like the way words play with each other when I let them loose on the diamond. They rhhyme they cooperate they dance and sometimes they engage in pitched battle and reveal hidden context.

Me too 🙂 its been wonderful. See you next year.
I, too, “like the way words play with each other when I let them loose on the diamond”
Love your poetry! Your words do play and dance and sing. Some of your poems would be wonderful set to music! Your poems are deep, and fun and a joy to read!
“the words play with each other when I let them loose on the diamond” is a perfect example. Suddenly the reader is at the baseball field, hitting the ball, watching it jump and spin and the players scramble. Then, back to the next line and the mind is given another spin, in another place, another story.
As others have said, I love the baseball metaphor, how you cast words as players-brilliant! I’m glad you joined the community!
Thank you Charlie.
what a sparkle with words
what a master of plot
what a tongue in cheek,

Hope to eye you
