cityscape
beneath a camouflage of summer-
leafed trees, stanchion parking meters
hold rigid their lines, ticking off
minutes until cardinal-colored semaphores
flash one after the other
above the pale night-clock rolls on
rearranging weightless shadows
that barely skim the silver
tributary threading its way
past vertical terrains of glass and block
as bullfrog-bellows wheeze out
splashes one after the other

Whoops. I wasn’t finished! Your descriptions are great and your language is musical.
This seems very vivid and comforting!
