Waltz
Keep it concealed,
A coalmine canary, castled away from danger.
Keep it casual.
An inky witch dancing between raindrops.
A ballroom amongst insect and undisturbed stones,
We feel joy where we can,
Before a great mouth.

Great shape to this poem.
The capitalized lines
even though many use them made me think of the poet Kenneth Rexroth .
Yes!
The canary and the music of the first stanza flows into the witch in the second.
I’m here for this world your giving us: I want to read more of these!
Wonderful sounds, imagery, flow, and play at work here. Really dig this! Thanks for sharing.
