As us lying on a clam shell under the tree
Leaves blocking out the sun
Vitamin D + water = fun
Your little body wears a puddle jumper 
Ready to scare me diving under

Tiny nose in huge goggles
Water comes flooding into the loose space
And we laugh as we pull them off your face 
My little baby rainbow 
You bring more joy than you know
It won’t always be as easy 
As whether the pizza was too cheesy
But at least for today
