the aloness
one thinks it will be lovely
a gift of peace solitude
after so much constant crawl
but when it arrives and there is no replacement
it seems rather
alone

I had to read this over again, and again, and you get it haha. So many different stories could possibly stem out of this one. And I admire poetry like that. When it makes people think in new perspectives. Great work!
It is meant to pull thought, so yay EDL! Three parts of it make me want to expand: constant crawl, as implied crawling, as implies children, and the title aloness, not aloneness because we can be goddesses of alone, alonesses, if we allow 🙂 Then too, alone, at the end, where I could’ve driven it to lonely, but didn’t <3
You put the sentiment I was pondering this morning in place with this poem!
