A breadth and depth of personal and philosophical musing.
Awesome!
Great use of alternative form.
Bulleted organized and clean
top to bottom. Futuristic, almost sci-fi.
Great poem!
Well, this certainly caught my attention and held it! Very creative and exciting. “You can’t quench anyone’s thirst with the word water” – favorite!
Thanks. They are a snippet of my current notes that, for whatever reason, I haven’t turned into poems yet. Each section on a Word document contains many more lines.
There’s a neat nashville song.
” ain’t no water in Watertown.”
Is one of the lines. If you know the geography around nashville it hits.
Well now I want the rest! 😂
But I’m sure you have your reasons for what you shared here and what you didn’t. Nevertheless, this was very creative and gives us plenty of thoughts to savor, so hats off to you!
Absolutely adore this structure, complete with bullet points!
Fav line: “You can’t quench anyone’s thirst with the word water”
Lots to ponder here, Jeremy! You are a man of many mysteries. I look forward to your poetic explorations of these topics.
I really enjoy how you used your notes to create this found poem for us. So many good lines but I love ““dreaming is the only time you see a mirror of yourself”
My goodness. You have so many nuggets here. I love it that taking notes have become a form,
Thank you! I really feel like good note taking has helped me as a writer.
