Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use
platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive
way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and
encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes
to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly
anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of
the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities
offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings
and poetry workshops.
Hi E.E.! Great meeting you thru these lines. I’ll probaby be pondering it for days. I call myself “ a poet of hope” so, well, ive actually never considered approaching any aspect of life without hope! Hope is major key to survival. Hmmmm”
Thank you for your insightful feedback. Perhaps hope is what helps us survive reality when it becomes grim. Ukraine and Gaza come to mind. Yes, food for thought!
Sobering haiku, done well!
It’s tempting to create a tanka:
But we can seek joy between
the crack of egos clashing.
My response vanished. Weird. Thanks ever so much for your creative response! 🙂
