Create
words in
dreams
voices from the
hills of home
rattling up from
cave
and grotto under
mountains
vibrating
in our
bones
words of old
gods
cosmic
scribbles
in the night
sky
create
us
all from
nothing
inspired by Normandi Ellis’s book,
Imagining The World Into Existence.

The poem has an airy and timeless feel to it. Old gods from bones! I love the reference to Normandi Ellis at the end.
I agree with Linda. The poem’s form is light and it dances gently down the page. This is a beautiful poem. Thank you for crafting it and sharing it with us.
Mystical!
Beautiful, Carole! And thanks for referencing Normandi, who is a treasure, ain’t she?
I love the way that the form adds a meditative effect with the space between sections. And “voices from the/hills of home” Shew yes!
