Ghost of Breakfast Past
alone no more even when i’m by myself
sunrise breaking presently invitingly clear
replacing ever-present stout malt liquor
fresh, floral infusion of chamomilla
replaces follow-up reposado tequila
i see with clarity now
though the taste
still lingers
