Last Words
In
a
perfect
world I would
have written a poem
every day this month and picked
more black raspberries before they shriveled; and so I
missed some sweetness, seeds in my teeth—still glad I was here
with Poet Pam and her cowboy
rolling down the tracks
sharing words
eyeing
next
June

love this!
Yes to the cowboy boots! Great little poem.
“Perfect” is overrated! Wonderful poem today, thank you for sharing
Beautiful.
Black raspberries – seeds in the teeth! Glad for the gift of your poetry this month!
Enjoyed your fib! Especially the part about Pam’s cowboy and the seeds. 🙂 See ya here next time, I hope.
Oh, those berries! And you honor Pam. We will be sentenced to no more sentences for that cowboy. Smn
If you went to college and lived in a dorm or sorority house, this is how I think the students feel when they leave for the summer. “See you next year!”
Love it, Nancy!
Loved your presence and comments on our poems even on the days you didn’t post!
Laughing and loving “Poet Pam and her cowboy
rolling down the tracks”
Thank you for sharing your work and for being a part of the conversation about my work here and in other poet spaces! See you in the Fall!
Love this Nancy. I’m going to have to look this form up and see what it’s all about., and of course, try some.
Wonderful!😊
“missed some sweetness” (maybe enjoyed more sweetness for not trying to be perfect?! perfect drains. . . .)
I enjoyed your poetry this June!
Nancy, it’s always a pleasure to read your work! Love “and picked/more black raspberries before they shriveled; and so I/missed some sweetness.”
Nancy, thanks for your comments on my poems. I’ve not been able to read yours this month–hope to read them later this summer!
Excellent poem, Nancy. Sweetness and raspberry seeds and cowboy Pam. I love the form you chose here.
