Mona on Pebble Beach
1.
Now the cuckold sees.
Mona’s eyes, he mulls, a problem—
adorable, pellucid irises green
as onions.
Fertile valley, tubs
of ornament and nourishment
on supple skin—porcelain
wrapped thin
in black transparent
nylon.
2.
His fumbling hand feels
through his pocket,
his denigration complete.
3.
She loves this.

Wow! Love the intensity and accelerating speed of this one.
I love “green /as onions./Fertile valley,..”
Yes!
Perfect
“irises green/
as onions.”
That first line is a good attention grabber, simple but curious
thank you Arwen

Love the shape and heat in this poem and “irises green
as onions.”
thank you Pam
I really liked the imagery for this line: “on supple skin—porcelain wrapped thin”
Gorgeous imagery. You captured their power imbalances and his humiliation well.
❤️

I wasn’t expecting that.
