Please forgive the interruption
ADHD makes it hard
Don’t always wait for my turn.
How could I be understood?
Dry ink ever fading.
Don’t always wait for my turn.
How could I be understood?
Dry ink ever fading.
Don’t always wait for my turn.
A sentence is severed.
Dry ink ever fading,
Hoping the spark will not vanish.
A sentence is severed.
Dry ink ever fading,
Hoping the spark will not vanish.
A sentence is severed.
Dropped in like a reflex.
Hoping the spark will not vanish,
Dragged out repetition relentless.
Dropped in like a reflex.
Hoping the spark will not vanish,
Dragged out repetition relentless.
Dropped in like a reflex,
How could I be understood?
Dragged out repetition relentless;
ADHD makes it hard.
How could I be understood?
Dragged out repetition relentless;
ADHD makes it hard.

Would love to know thoughts of my peers regarding spacing and punctuation! This is my first Pantoum (and semi-acrostic(ish) poem!
I chose to write a pantoum because of yours the other day, Linda! I loved it and thought “wow, I didn’t know those could be so interesting!” 😊 thanks for the inspiration and feedback.
I think you nailed it! plus showed how ADHD makes a mind flit around on the page! well done!

I have yet to write a Pantoum. Loving learning from yours and others.
Love: “Don’t always wait for my turn.”
Thank you so much for the feedback, Pam! It’s accidental but always hard to mind my manners when I really want to tell someone something! 😂
I thought you did a great job getting your point across about how the mind works and doing that within the confines of a form poem!
Thanks so much for the feedback, Sylvia, I appreciate it! 😊 Form is really intriguing to me so I’m hoping to keep experimenting.
