Common Ground, Lost or Found
Even the coyote and badger
can find common ground
if we come together as one
world peace could prevail
and possibly hatred done
and perhaps, yes perhaps
A new path begun!

Peace poem full of hope.
And Virginia, I have really enjoyed reading your poems this month!
I just noticed that I replied to you this morning but only posted the reply on my board. Maybe, I should write about the aging process. My message said: Thank you, Virginia. Also, thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts on my poems this month. I will be unavailable tomorrow, so today is my last day for LexPoMo 2026. Keep writing!

What a joy to see your poem today, John. As I re-read your poem, “Seven Steps to Heaven” by Miles Davis is playing, and there are seven steps in your form. Hope and peace.
Thank you for your kind words, support, and encouragement this month. Be well and may we meet again next June
