A Leisure Stroll
A Leisure Stroll
The afternoon walk home
seemed so much better
than usual. Bullies were serving
time in detention, and Missy
Johnson was absent today.
The wispy white clouds
smeared across the “sky blue”
background reminded me
of cotton candy. Delightful!

Nice, hopefully, they sort out the troll/bot problem. It’s obvious.
Thank you. I don’t want to spoil the ending other than to say there will be a major turn toward the end.
The poem’s rhythm feels leisurely.
