A Miscellaneous Brick
i’m not another brick on the wall.
scuffed
weathered
faded.
there’s more to me that meets the eye,
if only someone took the time to look.
but,
who on earth
would take the time to look
at every brick they passed by.

How interesting the metaphor here, of the commonplaceness of bricks in walls .. and I am thinking of our school walls this year, where kids use chalk to decorate bricks and how the wall becomes a gallery of individual art. Different than your poem, I know ..
