All the Sudden, on Accident, I Feel Badly
I
know
I can’t
stop the change
avalanching toward
my poor worn sense of correctness.

Roberta – The title is so engaging, and I love how the poem avalanches toward the end – “my poor worn sense of correctness” is a phrase I feel often but never could put into the best words like you did.
True observation.
Amen! This is really clever, Roberta – from the title through that great final line. Its a winner 😉
I like change as an avalanche
& the writer’s “sense of correctness”
as the place toward which it hurtles
Well constructed poem!
Well done!
