😀 fireflies ….we saw some in the yard 😀
“pulses with accented voices”
Yes ❤️
Once again, you craft an incredible, powerful statement that is an entire story!
I’d love to hear all the accents.
Aren’t we all, somehow, desperate for the magic of firefly light? Very nice, Pam.
“desperate for firefly light” (as Nancy says) is a universal!
Beautiful and poignant. I saw a firefly the other night on my porch and felt blessed.
Lovely
Agree with Greg. So lovely – with a haunting tone.
Love accented voices!
Very well done!
I now imagine a doctor prescribing firefly light.
It is good medicine.
I can almost hear the train breathing, every accent a flicker against the dark. “Desperate for firefly light” is such a unique and lovely way to say what’s missing.
“accented voices”
again, I am so intrigued, and delighted to continue this journey
Your train transports me on an entire journey in a brief span. The poem’s rhythm pulses as does “firefly light.” Well done, Pam
I love these sentences. I keep telling myself to write more poetic sentences but never remember when I sit down to write!
