Avowed Reservoir
A distorted sight
Underwater-like echo
Turbid defiance
Silent disturbance
A beryl convolution
One frangible sluice
Drops of tenderness
Waltzing not missing a beat
To Buckets of awe

This reminds me of “the bloop” which I just learned about the other day. Loud, wide-spread sounds from t the ocean…Some say it was an iceberg sliding away from itself, some say it was the communication of a creature larger than anything we know
(somehow this fits what I’m reading in your poem – I like when connections form like that)
I love those moments too!
Thanks for reading, Arwen.
I love how you use such wonderful language in a concise form! My favorite image is the waltzing “drops of tenderness.”
Thank you for reading, Katrina!
The word choices are very good, and make their own music.
Thank you for reading 🙂
