Woman,the word between us

If I were a vixen, I couldn’t move you to my side
Though we both learned from our mother
We stand on different sides of her.

This knowledge did not move me
Womanhood did
It’s societal role becomes my mother
I take the place of both sisters.

Keep pages of me
Consume my womanhood like the patriarchy would
It is inside of us, we must stand still
Ignorance makes us absorb one another.
