Caramel Sutra
This evening, I was craving some Ben & Jerry’s
So I got a pint of salted caramel
And ate it with a spoon that was still warm from the dishwasher
Alone in my kitchen at midnight
While simultaneously realizing I’d missed my opportunity to make 69 jokes yesterday.
The end.

I love the title and how it interacts with the poem
Such a relateable poem, from the pint of ice cream at midnight to the missed opportunity of a joke.
This poem is so clever and fun—I love the word play and missed/made jokes
Learned from the best 🙂
