I love the weight this poem carries in just 4 simple lines. It really captures the both comforting and terrifying indifference of nature, and the ever-present existential loneliness of humanity. Well done!
I like this. I’m a big fan of shoe poems. I just read a great book called An Immense World all about the senses and how different animal perceive the world in completely different ways and one of the senses talked about was echolocation. It is an amazing book.
Concise and layered and effective! Well done piece of writing.
