False Starts
Somewhere near the Big Bang,
a gutless wonder jumps out of a hat,
too late for gravity to transpire,
a quantum leap appears
and particles wave at each other
while waves disappear,
advancing elsewhere,
the sun distracted by winter
attempts to lengthen the shadow,
arriving at the nearest conclusion,
antimatter and end of days.
Out of chaos comes order.
From darkness,
let one true thing emerge.

Wow! Strong, thought-provoking poem, equal parts science and music.
Thank you
