Is there anything better?
I love that we get to see exactly what you’re saying because you let us interpret what these words mean for us and for our experiences.
A nice and tight universal poem.
May you eat well with your loved ones. And often.
Beautiful. Many layered. Brings Gary Snyder’s “Song of the Taste” to mind. “Feast of Love” as special occasion shared with family, dear friends, and community in celebration and bond. Shared activity of pleasure, affection, and relationship. “Gather round the dinner table” refers to communal time of sharing ritual of taking in other forms of life to sustain our own. Interconnectedness of humans with each other as well as our nonhuman sisters and brothers of all beings. Eating as the most sacred act of all. Impressive writing. Grateful you are participating in Lexpomo. Be well
