Genius and clutter
Einstein’s desk,
the day after he died,
was much like Einstein’s desk
the day before he died.
Genius and clutter
survive
what we cannot.
I hope the clutter
I leave behind
will be worth enough

Yes! What a genius thing to ponder! <3
Yes. The hope of our human experience is to be remembered, and well. Thank you for sharing your poem. I really love it!
I agree with Alvera Lisabeth: the clutter we leave behind is a great subject.
Oh yes the clutter —follows me and over the years each time I move more to stuff in boxes! I had to hire an organizer—my own personal drill sergeant. The worst part is that if you leave your clutter behind no one will ever “get it”—what has meaning and what was just clutter. Like your poems
