God’s Paint Palette
From Beatrice Underwood-Sweet’s Day 18 Prompt
A vast array of colors were seen on this nature hike
lush forest green foilage covered the path
creekbed stones of charcoal, amber, white, and onyx
a camouflaged snake sunning on a log
a pale green moth, wings outstretched on burnt umber bark
fuschia tree blossoms with golden centers
crystal clear waterfall running down the mountain
truly a masterpiece from God

Beautiful descriptions. A lovely poem!
Thanks so much.
“onyx,” “umber,” “fuschia”–I love the sound of those words and the hard “c”s throughout, from “color” to “clear.” I’ll be paying closer attention on my next hike.
Thank you Gaby.
