Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use
platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive
way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and
encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes
to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly
anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of
the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities
offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings
and poetry workshops.
Amazing <3
Pat, such depth in so few words! Love the phrase “empty of him.”
Thank you
Beautiful!
Beautiful eight-line elegy
I can tell you loved him. This is tender.
I like this understated &
subtle homage
Thank you. this was my aim
There’s so much story beautifully expressed here. We can tell.
Such tenderness. I admire your instinct to keep this one spare.
By the way, I’m still “discovering” people on here–it takes so much time to keep up! I’ve enjoyed reading your work and love your photo.
Thanks so much. Thanks for your personal comment and reaction
Yes. The poem says/shows it all.
The tribute is strong in his shoes…
