I Lub You!
A head full of auburn curls.
Two voices shushing,
while a quilt gives us invisibility.
I gaze into those little shining green eyes
All time stands still with such hope.
She whisper “I lub you!”
“I love you too!” I whisper, giving a gentle hug.
Searching footsteps approach.
Laughter erupts.
We peak from the quilt aaaaaannndd
RARRRR!

how sweet this poem is…
Thank you!
In a time of being alone, we often find our who is listening…
Little ears hear everything and often have deeper understanding.
This poem is filled with happiness! Anyone with kids can relate as you captured the beauty and simple joy in playing with your children. Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you!
Just like me and my daughter who is 3
My niece and I love to play games together.
Brings tears of memory of my little ones.
