I’ll miss you like crazy!
Plastered in the grassy median strip of Polo Club Boulevard
in big cheerful, multicolored blocks for all to view.
Are you going to camp or a summer job?
is it a break up ? Did you take a new job miles away?
Are you in Africa on safari?
Backpacking across Europe in hostels?
On a mission trip?
Will you come back?
I need to know about You and I.

Nice one, Linda! Love all the possibilities.
I love the mystery of this poem!
i like the ‘gazing-into-a-crystal-ball’ ness of this..
Love this! Imagine if we all put signs up to publicly display all our inner questions.
Yes! That sign intrigued me!
This poem hits me really weird because I also once knew somebody in that area who did take a job miles away. Was not expecting to be brought back to that memory today, but I love it. Makes the poem all the more relatable. Thank you for sharing!
This is so intriguing, Linda! Love it!
Such a relatable piece, I like the series of questions to really drive home the sense of curiosity and longing.
Yay! So intriguing.
You took the challenge! Great!
Always love your honesty related to grief in your poetry, Linda. Hope you’re enjoying this year as much as I am
Yes! It’s fun with all the comments! Check out Debra Glen’s poem. We challenged each other about this sign! Are you finished with school?

The more questions we have, the more answers we need. Nice writing, Linda.
