June Sunrise
Silent,
but anticipated
the sun peeks
through my window
rising
until it
disappears like
youth above
the roof, over
hanging
outside, leaving the
mountain
and the mystery I hold
secretly about you, behind.

Love the progression of this poem. Those last lines are awesome.
Thanks, Phillip, I take your words to heart. Progression in poetry is often overlooked as is a hidden acrostic.
Love the nature metaphor….
Linda, I am an early riser, I enjoy sunrise and sunset.
love “disappears like/ youth”
Thanks, Gaby for your choice of words from my poem.
