LexPoMo Finale 2017
Didn’t write a poem every single day
But twenty-two out of thirty for the month of June ain’t bad
This is my last one for the month.
Studied poetry in high school English and Freshman Comp in college
Was asked what the poet meant by this or that
Hell, I don’t know, why don’t you tell me?
You’re the teacher
Guess I didn’t have the most mature attitude those many years ago.
Roses are red, but violets aren’t blue
Violets are violet
But it’s hard to rhyme “violet”
Whatever, most of my poems don’t rhyme anyway
Y’ll have a good summer!

Enjoyed your idiosyncratic voice.
Good job
