No Such Thing
not sure we
realize, yet
that there’s
no such thing
as different
every person a
preciousness,
a mathematical
expression
of beauty forged
through infinity,
by the same
star breath, with
thoughts, ideas, looks
touches that
spill universes into
existences,
every rock, tree, fence
holds us face to face
with reality,
so we can see
in all faces
a golden ratio
and wish
we could see
no such thing,
as different

tender in the midst of a cool headiness, enjoyed the juxtaposition sir. enjoyed how intimacy could be corporate. corporate in a “we” sense as well as “of the body.” thank you.
To be able to put the words mathematical, preciousness and beauty within a few words of each other and still hold on to the breath of fresh air this poem offers is truly a gift.
Love it…. especially ‘spills universes into existences’
You all are so kind, and the feedback is most welcome and encouraging. You have lifted my heart. Thanks.
I really liked this…so true, “by the same star breath’, beautiful…liked the way it looked on the page too! Thanks for sharing.
