You are such a unique poet, Dustin. I often feel your poems, like this one, as floating in a space just outside my comprehension, and yet I’m drawn to them in something like the way I’m drawn to fireflies floating over the grass.

thank you both for giving this thought. This set up erasure has been feeling a little on the short side. more like snippets or seeds. but it’s nice to have a place to collect them.

Dustin, What are you using for erasure? I do think you have, at least for a lot of your poems, a distinctly minimalist voice that mysteriously stretches into the deep.

so far this month all of the erasure has been from a 64 page booklet from the hospital called ‘living well with heart disease’
