Patience
Waiting for a bloom,
unfolding velvet white whorl, swirl,
ambrosial essence,
waiting to be entranced
by effusive sweetness,
I coax, plead for
a blossom,
intoxication.

I love this sense of relationship between you and the flowering plant—-which you highlight in your poem. I love what you have done! And it reminds me of my own sense of expectation when I visit my small garden. thank you!
It’s anticipation. And now we wait for the last poem.
I agree with Ann.
