Poem 2: Jacob
I see my Father
in your untamed play,
like a bounding hurricane
on the sea
or a star playfully
licking space
you clench your fists
and scream and laugh—
when I am home from work
I carefully hang my tie
to join you

An excellent look at fatherhood!
