riddance
crystalline waters frown on me
coppered hair pulled back
lying on rocky plated sand
bullied ego growing flimsy
gripping onto unflattered folds
eyes burning with hatred covered
songs of new worship surrounding
i cannot find your love here
clinging to my discarded body
it will no longer serve you

Coppered hair and the rush of great verbs pull me right through this poem. The lack of caps/punctuation give it speed and an understated approach while it’s busy punching you in the gut with those last three lines. Thanks for sharing!
There’s a lot of beautiful assonance in this poem. C sounds, s sounds, f sounds. Well done.
“it will no longer serve you” — I like this statement of emancipation at the end. Nice.
Wow! Strong feeling & energy here.
It was good to meet you the other day.
Wow, this is so powerful!
