Say that again
Sometimes
I show up
so absolutely lovefilled
I show up
and listen
And I hear….
an absence of
Love
Love is pouring out of me
How is it not pouring out of everything?
Why does this feel…
so lonely?
And so in connection
to the center of everything?
Maybe what sounds
like absence
Is actually
presence
Maybe, I’m
learning to hear
Maybe love-filled
means hearing things
A different way
I want to hear the whole world
All over again

my pre-coffee eyes saw
lovefilled spelled as lovified…(which i’m scribbling
down in my notebook for potential future use)
nice sense of pace here.
like two steps forward-one step back.
Maybe what sounds
like absence
Is actually
presence
Love that. Like a choice bit of wisdom from the Tao that seems intended to make you go cross-eyed, which is how I feel reading the Tao, which is why I love it.
Love this whole thing. I feel the static and crackling resonance. I feel the reaching.
You will definitely change the world with the amazing way that you listen to people.
So much empathy in this, and I love the conclusions you come to; that maybe love-filled means hearing things a different way.
The title fits perfectly with that sentiment.
I Love this poem so much!!!
