Shineshrine
First rays of summer, piercing everything like a rain of arrows.
My teeth are gold today,
Too soft to bite down,
But glittering in the sun.
Radiant and hazy, soaking in hungry looks and mouthed missives.
We keep
Feeling
Our way through this;
Softly, or heavyhanded in turns.
Yet another brilliancy,
Consume my flesh, as I consume yours.

This poem keeps yielding new treasures with each read!
That title really shimmers above it all.
Love the beautiful, hallucinogenic splendor of the imagery here
yet another brilliancy:
June’s gift is poetry like yours
