Shredded
Anxiety—
Clawing at my brain like a cat scratches upholstery
Shredding my nerves and
Gouging my sanity
Until all that remains is a tangle of loose threads
And a knot of panic too tight to unravel

Incredible!!
Thanks, Megan!
This poem speaks to me because I’m in one of those ‘knots of panic’ right now. It’s good to have the poetry to help us work it all out.
Absolutely! Keep writing until the knot loosens.
This speaks to me right now, in a big way.
Sorry to hear you’re suffering from anxiety too.
