Silent Air
sweet silence ~ air softly caresses
seed programmed to gently master
still magic held in an illusionist’s hand
deeper
nature’s witness softly cheers me on
Silence ~ mitochondria’s unfulfilled promise
assurance seed
listening
i am guided
Mother’s Nature’s embrace
i am cradled
how can i doubt her messages?
familiar ~ as it is
nature’s kiss not easily forgotten
my history soothed . . . as i become my own past

Thank you Shaun, I appreciate your appreciation!
Very affecting. Spiritual. The title: “Silent,” sacred vibrational essence; “Air,” breath of the spirit, spiritus, that universal element that sustains all life. Vivid imagery speaks to the senses: “softly caresses,” “held in . . . hand,” “listening,” “embrace,” “ nature’s kiss.” The wonder of life and it’s potential released in its growth and development: “air softly caresses seed,” “seed programmed to gently master,” and “mitochondria’s unfulfilled promise.” Final line brings closure to process: “my history soothed . . . as i become my own past.” Read aloud, this poem is rhythmically rich, alliteratively vibrant, and soothing in tone. Thank you for sharing. With gratitude
