Silvery Sighting
Silvery Sighting
I’ve saved my allowance for a long time
now, and I’m close to having enough
money for the sixty-four box. Another
quarter, and I’ll have it. On the sidewalk
in front of my house, the shining
miracle appears! Washingtton looking up
at me. It will “Tickle Me Pink” to know
that Missy Johnson has nothing
on me.

And both of you have something on me…
I’m assuming by your comment that you don’t understand where I’m going with these poems. In my first poem, the child is obviously poor, and cannot afford the 64-count box of crayons. Each poem will incorporate a color from the box of crayons.
Missy Johnson! I love it. And the idea for the series is exciting too!
Thank you!
Crayola craving, I love it.
Thank you!
So anxious for him to have his box.
