Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use
platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive
way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and
encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes
to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly
anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of
the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities
offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings
and poetry workshops.
Cinematic. When read aloud, the poem’s strong rhythmic pattern propel its lines, “dancing” the listener through its entirety. Vivid multi-sensory imagery (auditory and visual) plus superb word choice provide the reader a multi-layered experience. Thank you for sharing, Jess
Like “the landscape of our lives” – Sometimes words say so much with so little!
Just beautiful
wow… an awesome poem!
Thank you fellow LexPoMo poets. This one peeled off of me rather quickly. I am glad you all liked it.
Sorry about this comment it actually comes from Jess Roat, I am simply his typist today!
