The Reading Life – 1
I
choose
to read
books by those
whose ebullience
transfers from pen to page, whose prose
engages in a dance of wit and wisdom, challenge
and camaraderie. Not for me the moot, mournful,
mundane, the argument obtuse,
or worse, fallacious.
Find reason,
truth, joy
through
books!

Mary- love the form and choice of words…ebullience. Always learn a new word from you thanks!
I see the formula – the number of syllables in each line equals the sum of the two previous lines until you start going back the other way. What’s this form called?
You’re talking about the Fibonacci series. The poetic form is the “fib.” In this case, since the numbers of syllables increase and then decrease, it’s a “double fib.”
Nothing like a double fib on a Sunday morning!!! Since this is 1 – I look forward to more!
You are a master of the fib! Can’t wait to read #2
