What I’ve Found
In the 8+ years since I started having caregivers
I have found that the most important trait one must possess
is to be caring. Along with this obvious characteristic one
must be willing to share—their laughter, their smiles, good
vibes, jokes, stories and insights. Again and again the old
adage proves true.

Don’t consider myself a religious man any more, but the scripture is still true: Without Love, it’s all clashing cymbals.
Enjoyed, sir.
You get what you give.
I’ve watched the thoughtless carelessness of some in this industry and wondered why? I wouldn’t let them work on my car or walk my dog and here they are “caring” for someone!
It would suck being dependent on someone who didn’t care, maybe even dangerous
I care, and I create. My people become my family. I don’t/can’t relate to those who punch a clock when it comes to making sure the meds are needed and working, making sure the diet is right and the docs are working. Making sure my new friend is happy and fulfilled. I don’t stop until an independent partner tells me it’s time. Sounds like it’s time to write a poem.
