It’s fun, I enjoy the challenge of writing a poem a day, and the satisfaction of knowing I stuck with it and completed my goal. It’s fun getting together in person at the book launch and seeing and hearing the other poets read.

Toni makes me do it! And, when desperate for a poem, forced to write haikus which challenge me and turn out as wonderful little word surprises!
To have motivation to create more intentional writing and to be a part of a great community of writers.
LexPoMo challenges me to purposefully take time to create, and it’s something I look forward to every year.
