Poetry has always been the place where Hope makes sense of the things that are difficult to carry out loud. She signed up for Lexington Poetry Month to connect with other writers, share pieces rooted in vulnerability and healing, and continue growing her voice within a creative community. Much of her work explores womanhood, motherhood, trauma, recovery, identity, and the complicated process of becoming. As both a social worker and future counselor, she is deeply interested in the ways storytelling can create connection, challenge shame, and help people feel less alone.
