Because I’ve been writing a poem-a-day in June with other LEXPOMO poets since the beginning. I’ve always found it inspiring to read the other poets’ work.

LexPoMo is the marathon I don’t train for but love running just to see if my legs still work.

L. Sipe | LexPoMo 2025

Poetry allows L. a creative outlet to express emotions and benefit from its healing energies. While not identifying as a poet or a writer, L. feels compelled to write because it opens doors, opens eyes, opens hearts. Writing poetry resonates personally deep inside, rippling concentric circles to community, state, country, planet, ancestors (past, present, and future) and all beings.
